ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Five members of the Bradley cross country teams have been named to the 2024 Missouri Valley Conference Cross Country Scholar-Athlete Team, per a release from The Valley on Tuesday.
Junior
Nadia Potgieter, senior
Abigail Hancock and junior
Anna Perry were named to the Scholar-Athlete team from the women's team, while sophomore
Jayde Rosslee and fifth-year senior
Michael Rebello earned honors from the men's team. This is the second consecutive Cross Country Scholar-Athlete Team selection for Potgieter and Hancock, while Perry, Rosslee and Rebello were recognized for the first time. Bradley's five selections to the Scholar-Athlete team were the most of any MVC school.
To qualify for the MVC Scholar Athlete team, student-athletes must finish in the top 20 at the MVC Championships, be at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing and hold a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average.

The Braves return to the course on Friday, November 15, for the NCAA Midwest Regional at Newman Golf Course. Competing teams will have the chance to advance to the NCAA Championship in Madison, Wis. on November 23.
