ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Five members of the Bradley cross country teams have been named to the 2024 Missouri Valley Conference Cross Country Scholar-Athlete Team, per a release from The Valley on Tuesday.

Junior Nadia Potgieter, senior Abigail Hancock and junior Anna Perry were named to the Scholar-Athlete team from the women's team, while sophomore Jayde Rosslee and fifth-year senior Michael Rebello earned honors from the men's team. This is the second consecutive Cross Country Scholar-Athlete Team selection for Potgieter and Hancock, while Perry, Rosslee and Rebello were recognized for the first time. Bradley's five selections to the Scholar-Athlete team were the most of any MVC school. 

To qualify for the MVC Scholar Athlete team, student-athletes must finish in the top 20 at the MVC Championships, be at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing and hold a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average.
