PEORIA, IL -- The Bradley Softball Team helped out at the Western Avenue Greenway Project this past weekend. This marks the second year that the program has participated in this initiative. The event helps clean up local areas, as this weekend they cleaned up a park less than a mile from campus.
News crews from

Central Illinois Proud got to speak with some of the student-athletes and team members on site, as they reflected on the impact of their help, "They worked with good humor, steady labor, and a wonderful sense of camaraderie, perhaps the most noticeable trait… I can't say enough about the individuals' dedication and the team's effort. It was a joy to work with the students."
Head Coach
