ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Valley Conference announced its 2024 Volleyball Scholar-Athlete Teams on Tuesday afternoon, as voted on by the league's sports information directors.
Bradley's Irene Mostardini was named to the First Team for her exceptional contributions both on and off the court. A junior from Monsummano Terme, Italy, Mostardini is majoring in Nutrition and Dietetics and has maintained a perfect 4.00 GPA. On the court, she was a key asset for the Braves this season, recording the most sets played (119), 544 digs (4.57 per set), and 24 service aces.
The criteria for this honor align with the College Sports Communicators (CSC) standards for Academic All-America voting. Nominees must be starters or significant reserves with at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA (on a 4.00 scale) and must have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at their institution (true freshmen and redshirt freshmen are not eligible).
