PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Volleyball welcomes Irene Mostardini to Bradley for the 2024 volleyball season.
Mostardini comes to Bradley from Polk State College in Winter Haven, Florida. Mostardini spent two seasons with the Eagles and served as the starting libero last season. Between her two seasons, she recorded 761 digs and a 4.91 digs per set mark. In 2023, she was 19th in the entire NJCAA in digs per set with 4.94.

"We are very excited to welcome Irene to the family," head coach Alicia Williams said. "She brings a great wealth of experience in the back court and will look to make an impact right away for us."

Mostardini comes out of Monsummano Terme, Italy, and joins the Braves as a junior. She took first place in the Regional Championship of Series C and Promotion in Series B2 in Italy. She comes to Bradley as a second libero on the Braves roster, joining Karina Simatos.

"She's very quick with her feet and can dig hard driven balls with a lot of range," Williams said. "She will fit into our system well defensively."
