PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley Baseball team lost both games of their doubleheader today. The first was a seven-inning 5-0 loss, the second was a full game, with the Braves falling 5-3.
GAME ONE
Senior
Ryan Vogel and Junior
Tyrese Johnson recorded the two hits for the Braves. Junior
Travis Lutz got the start for Bradley, pitching the first five innings, striking out five along the way.
GAME TWO
Freshman
Isaac Sobieszczyk led the Braves offensively, recording two hits and two walks. However, it was Sophomore
Beau Durbin whose eighth-inning single brought two of the three Bradley runs home. Junior
Jack Stellano got the start for the Braves, throwing the first four innings.
COMING UP...
The Braves will head to Las Vegas and take on the University of Nevada Las Vegas. The series will start on Friday, Feb. 23 at Earl E. Wilson Baseball Stadium. The first pitch is scheduled for 8:05 p.m. CT.
