BIRMINGHAM, Al- The Braves started the Green and Gold Classic by dropping their first two games to North Alabama and host team, UAB. 

Game One

North Alabama 5, Bradley 0

Kierston McCoy had herself a day at the plate, going 2-3 with a double and triple. McCoy had the lone two hits of the game for the Braves. 

The Braves pitching staff was able to limit North Alabama's offense to only one extra base hit throughout the game. 

Game Two

UAB 2, Bradley 0

Kierston McCoy was able to continue her success at the plate from the first game as she, Tori Meyer, Lauren DeRolf and Ashley Breeding had the lone hits of the game. 

Sydney Kennedy limited UAB to four hits with only one earned one while recording two strikeouts throughout the game.

Coming Up…

The Braves will be back in action on Feb. 24th as they take on Western Carolina at 9 am (CT), followed by Alabama at 3:45 pm (CT).
