PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Men's Basketball defeated Southern Illinois on Wednesday night by a final score of 86-67 on Senior Night.
At halftime, Bradley held a 37-27 lead over SIU. They recorded 24 rebounds in the half with 10 on the offensive glass. The Braves shot 10-for-12 from the free throw line and held the Salukis to only 11 made field goals in the half.
Bradley took down Southern Illinois with a final score of 86-67. The Braves had 39 total rebounds in the game compared to 28 for SIU. They also only had six turnovers with seven blocks and 10 steals. Bradley tallied 22 points off turnovers and 18 second chance points.
Darius Hannah led the game with 22 points after he was 8-for-10 from the field. He also had seven rebounds, two assists and a block. Connor Hickman collected 17 points with eight rebounds, five assists and five steals, a new career-high. Malevy Leons recorded 16 points, six rebounds and a new career-high six blocks.
Duke Deen had 13 points in the game with four rebounds, two assists and a steal. Christian Davis had eight points off the bench and Almar Atlason had six points. The team shot 49.2% from the field and 38.9% from beyond the arc.
In the starting lineup on Wednesday night, Bradley started all four of their seniors for Senior Night. Hannah, Leons, Connor Linke and Goanar Biliew all started for the Braves.

The Braves will play their last regular season game of the season on Mar. 3 at Drake. The game starts at 2:30 PM on ESPN2. Arch Madness starts on Mar. 7 but Bradley will play on Mar. 8 at 8:30 PM.
