EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Bradley Men's Basketball fell to Evansville on Wednesday night by a score of 70-73 at the Ford Center.
The Braves were down 27-32 at halftime. They were down by as many as 17 but crawled back to within five by the end of the half. Bradley recorded 22 rebounds in the half, eight of them on the offensive side. They also had four blocks in the half.
Duke Deen led the Braves with 11 points and six rebounds in the first half. Malevy Leons collected four rebounds, two blocks and two steals in the half.
Bradley fell to Evansville by a final score of 70-73. Overall, the Braves had 40 rebounds with 13 on the offensive glass. They shot 42% from the field and 40% from beyond the arc with 12 made three-pointers.
Deen had the most points in the game with 15 with seven rebounds, five assists, a block and a steal. Connor Hickman made four three-pointers and had 14 points, three rebounds and five assists. Darius Hannah was also in double figures with 13 points and seven rebounds.
Almar Atlason drained three three-point shots with 11 points, five rebounds and three assists. Leons recorded nine points, nine rebounds, three blocks and two steals.
Looking Ahead
Bradley comes back home after their roadtrip to face Drake on Saturday night at 5 PM. The Braves play UIC on Feb. 14 at 7 PM. They go back on the road on Feb. 18 to face Northern Iowa at 1 PM.
