PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley Braves Baseball team defeated the University of Nebraska at Omaha, 6-0.
The Braves had a three-run fourth and eighth inning, earning all six of their runs. In the fourth inning, Sophomore
Beau Durbin hit a two-RBI single to left. Later on in that inning, Junior
Cole Luckey scored on a passed ball, making it a 3-0 game. In the eighth inning, Senior
Jackson Chatterton doubled to right, scoring one to make it a 4-0 game. The next Bradley hitter, Junior
Timmy O'Brien hit a two-RBI double to left, making it a 6-0 ball game.
Durbin was the only Brave to record two hits, doing such from the nine-hole in the batting order. Senior
Ryan Vogel had three walks, the most out of any player in the game, as well as one stolen base. Four Braves reached base by being hit by a pitch.
Redshirt-Sophomore
Noah Edders had a fantastic game, throwing eight frames, striking out 10, while only allowing one walk and two hits. Sophomore
Brayden Marks entered in the ninth, ending the game with a shutout for Bradley, their first of the season.

Bradley will play two on Saturday, March 2. Their first is against Omaha at 12:00 p.m. CT. The second game is at 3 p.m. CT against Lindenwood University. Both games will be played at Lou Brock Sports Complex in St. Charles, MO.
