Bradley Baseball beats Butler in Game One

Box Score PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley Braves Baseball team earned a win over Butler University, 18-5.

Senior Jackson Chatterton had a four-hit, six-RBI day, hitting for the cycle with a double in the 1st inning, a single in the 2nd, he tripled in the 3rd and hit a grand slam home run in the fifth to complete the cycle. The last time a Brave hit for the cycle was on March 9, 2019 when Luke Shadid hit for the cycle at UNLV.

Junior Timmy O'Brien had a three-hit, six-RBI day. Freshman Isaac Sobieszczyk also had a three-hit game. The Braves ended this one in the top of the seventh. Redshirt-Sophomore Noah Edders pitched the first 5.1 innings for the Braves, striking out six.
