PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley Braves Baseball team lost a tight battle to the University of Illinois, 12-10.
The Braves hit three home runs, one from Junior
Timmy O'Brien, Freshman
Isaac Sobieszczyk and Junior
Cole Luckey. Sophomore
Beau Durbin and Luckey both had two hits for the Braves. O'Brien had a three RBI game, with Luckey and Sobieszcyk bringing home two. Senior
Jackson Chatterton was walked twice.
The Braves had a 7-2 lead after the top of the second, exiting the top of the third 8-4. The Illini offense was strong, leading to a two-run win. Illinois outhit the Braves, 14-9.
