Game Recap: Baseball | | Caden Sexton
PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley played two games on Saturday, March 2, winning the first against the University of Nebraska at Omaha, falling in the second to Lindenwood University.

OMAHA
In the third inning, Senior Ryan Vogel walked on a wild pitch, with the first run crossing home. Later on in that frame, Senior Logan Delgado came to the plate with bases loaded. Delgado hit a double to right field, clearing the bases, making it a 4-0 game. In the sixth inning, Vogel hit a single, bringing in his second runner, making the game 5-0. The Braves closed the game with a 5-1 win.

Along with his three RBI double, Delgado went 4-5. Vogel added to his afternoon with a steal and a walk. Junior Ryan Taylor was the only other Brave with a multi-hit afternoon, getting two hits. Senior Jackson Chatterton did not get a hit but reached base twice on two walks.

Junior Travis Lutz got the start for Bradley. He pitched the first six innings, striking out eight. Sophomore Easton Harris game in to relief Lutz, earning two strikeouts in just 1.1 innings on the mound.

LINDENWOOD
The Braves had four hits against the Lions, one from Vogel, Chatterton, Taylor and Junior Tyrese Johnson. Junior Cole Luckey earned two walks for the Braves.

Junior Jack Stellano got the nod for the Braves, pitching the first six innings, striking out four, only allowing four hits, one walk and one earned run.

This effort was not enough, however, with the Braves falling 5-0.
