Box Score PEORIA, Ill. -- The Braves went back to Normal and defeated the Redbirds once again, beating the conference rival 12-6.
In the top of the first, Junior
Cole Luckey hit a bases-clearing double, increasing the score to 6-0 before Illinois State even came to the plate. As we exited the top of the second, Bradley had a 7-0 lead. With another run scored in the third, fifth, sixth and two scored in the seventh, the Braves earned their six-run victory across all nine innings. The Braves doubled the Redbirds in hits, 14-7.
Sophomore
Beau Durbin led the Braves in hits with four, as Junior
Timmy O'Brien helped out with three hits. Luckey had four RBI, while O'Brien brought home three and Senior
Logan Delgado had two RBI of two separate hits. Senior
Ryan Vogel, Sophomore
Mason Breidenbach and O'Brien were all walked twice, with Junior
Tyrese Johnson being hit by a pitch two times.
