CINCINNATI, Ohio – #3 Bradley Men's Basketball fell to #2 Cincinnati on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 57-74.
The Braves were down 28-36 at halftime to the Bearcats. They made four three-pointers in the half with 18 total rebounds. They also recorded 14 points in the paint.
Connor Hickman led the way for Bradley with 12 points after he was 5-for-8 from the field. Malevy Leons tallied nine points with two rebounds. Christian Davis collected six rebounds in the half.
Bradley lost to Cincinnati with a final score of 57-74. The Braves made 23 shots in the game with 33 rebounds. They recorded 26 points in the paint with 16 points off turnovers.
Leons had 16 points and six rebounds in his last game as a Bradley Brave. Hickman recorded 14 points after he was 6-for-12 from the field. Kyle Thomas tallied eight points off the bench. Defensively, Davis collected eight rebounds with six points on the offensive side.
After this loss, the Bradley season is officially over. They finished the 2023-24 season with a 23-12 overall record and 13-7 MVC record. It is Bradley's second 20-win season in a row and their fifth in the last seven years. It was also the fourth time in the last six seasons the Braves made a postseason tournament. Since head coach Brian Wardle has come to Bradley, the Braves have finished above .500 six times.
