PEORIA, Ill– Bradley Athletics is pleased to continue its "Pledge Per" Campaign for 2024 with the 2nd Annual Bradley Volleyball "Need for Speed" event. The "Pledge Per'' Campaign provides Braves fans with the opportunity to support individual sport programs. Fans can select a desired donation increment (i.e. 50 cents, $1, $2, etc.) and support their favorite team. Volleyball will utilize the "mile per hour" statistic during their event with 100% of the proceeds directly supporting the Bradley Volleyball program. "Need for Speed" will be held on Saturday 3/23/24 at 10:30am CT at Renaissance Coliseum. All Volleyball student-athletes, in addition to "special guest" hitters, will get 10 swings to record their fastest attack utilizing state-of-the-art Trackman technology. Their individual fastest attack will then be utilized to determine a gift amount for Bradley Volleyball. For example, an attack of 42 mph with a pledge of $1.00 per mph would equal a gift of $42.00.
Sr. Assoc. AD for Development J Locklier states, "This is a great opportunity for all Braves Fans to support our Volleyball student-athletes on the court, in the classroom, and in the community. We are excited for this opportunity for our fans to engage with our program as they prepare for their 2024 season."

All "Pledge Per" Campaign donations are 100% tax deductible and will be acknowledged and receipted by Bradley University Advancement. In addition, any donations made through the "Pledge Per" Campaign will be added to individual donors' accounts and can increase a donor's 2023-24 Braves Club membership level.
The inaugural "Need for Speed" event in 2023 resulted in over $10,000 in support for Bradley Volleyball with an average speed of 47mph. Head Volleyball Coach Alicia Williams states, "Our 2nd Annual Need for Speed event is a great way for Braves fans everywhere to support our Volleyball program. Not only is this campaign fun and interactive, but the proceeds directly impact our student-athletes' future experiences at Bradley. "
