PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley Braves Baseball team lost the grudge match to Valparaiso, 13-2.

The Braves started with a 2-0 lead after a sac fly from Junior Nick Hosie and an RBI single from Senior Ryan Vogel in the second inning.

The Braves will host the Iowa Hawkeyes in their home opener on Tuesday, April 2. The first pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT. at Dozer Park.
