PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley Braves Baseball team tied the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Cougars, 3-3.
In the top of the third inning, Sophomore
Beau Durbin struck first, hitting a two-RBI double to left center, giving the Braves the 2-0 lead.
In the top of the seventh inning, Durbin did it again, this time a one RBI double to left center, extending the Braves lead to 3-0.
In the bottom of the seventh, the Cougars scored three runs to tie the game. No extra innings were played, with the game ending a tie after nine innings of play.

Ryan Vogel and Senior
Jackson Chatterton also had two-hit games. Junior
Timmy O'Brien, Junior
Michael Mylott and Chatterton all had a double, with Durbin's two doubles bringing the team total to five. Durbin also recorded a stolen base, the only one on the team. The Braves outhit the Cougars, 9-6.
Redshirt-Sophomore
Noah Edders saw some action, getting the start and throwing the first three innings. Junior
Jack Stellano came in to relieve Edders, throwing three innings himself. They both recorded two strikeouts while allowing one hit each and no runs.
MILESTONES
Senior
Logan Delgado recorded his 100th career hit! Delgado entered the game with 99 hits, with his single in the top of the sixth going down as number 100 as a Brave!

The Braves will travel to Nashville, TN to face the Belmont Bruins. The first game will be played on Friday, April 26 at E.S. Rose Park. First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. CT.
