Drake Relays Recap
The Braves traveled to Des Moines to compete in the 114th annual Drake Relays, hosted by MVC rival, Drake University.
Eli Rieker broke two records in the men's 100m and 200m with times of 10.55 and 21.43, respectively. This places him at the top of the record books for both the men's 100m and 200m in Bradley history.
Amiyah Davis finished the women's 400m with a time of 55.22.
In the 800m, Jaxson Copelin recorded the fifth best time in Bradley history with a time of 1:50.90. On the other side, Julia Nielsen broke the Braves record in the women's 800m with a time of 2:00.99, while also capturing the eighth best time in the 800m in Swedish history.
Jack Crull claimed the top honors in the men's 1500m with a time of 3:42.76. Max Dieterich also competed in the 1500m and logged the sixth best time in Bradley history with a time of 3:45.36
Men's and Women's Distance Medley both broke the current Bradley record for their time. Women's DMR recorded a time of 11:35.84. The Men's DMR recorded a time of 9:43.65 and took home the top honors in the category.
Coming Up…
The Braves will close out the 2023-24 campaign in Terre Haute, Ind. as they will participate in the Missouri Valley Conference Championships starting on May 10th.
