Box Score PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley Baseball team crushed Western Illinois, earning a 16-1 victory, ending the game early in the seventh inning.

The Braves had a six-run second inning thanks to RBI doubles by Junior Nick Hosie and Junior Timmy O'Brien, a bases-loaded walk by Senior Ryan Vogel and a sac-fly by Sophomore Beau Durbin.

The third and fourth innings the runs were scored a little differently than they were in the second. Junior Michael Mylott, Senior Jackson Chatterton and Hosie two times hit a home run.

In the sixth and seventh, the Braves added more to their lead, scoring four runs in the last two frames. Bradley scored six runs in the second, three in the third and fourth, scoring two in the sixth and seventh innings.

Hosie went 3-4 with five RBI. All three of Hosie's hits were for extra bases, with two home runs and a double. O'Brien had three RBI, as Vogel and Chatterton both had two. Vogel and Chatterton were the only other Braves that had a multi-hit game, each with two. Junior Ryan Taylor, Durbin and Chatterton were all walked twice.

Junior Jack Stellano got the start for the Braves, striking out three batters in his three innings on the mound.

MILESTONES

With his 347th win managing the Braves, Dominguez passes Leo Schrall, who earned 346 wins for Bradley between 1949-72. The Skipper added another milestone to his already prestigious career.
