PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley Braves Baseball team lost game one, yet won game two of the doubleheader against Missouri State.
GAME ONE
Bradley fell to Missouri State, 14-0.
The Braves had four hits, from Sophomore
Beau Durbin, Senior
Logan Delgado, Junior
Timmy O'Brien and Junior
Michael Mylott.
Junior
Travis Lutz got the start for Bradley, striking out six Bears through four innings.
GAME TWO
Bradley defeated Missouri State in the final game of the series, the second of the doubleheader, 10-2.
Junior
Cole Luckey hit an RBI double in the second inning to put the Braves up, 1-0. The Braves used that momentum and got hot in the third inning, scoring four runs. Junior
Tyrese Johnson, O'Brien and Freshman
Isaac Sobieszczyk all brought in a run, O'Brien bringing home two. The Braves kept their foot on the gas, scoring one in the fourth, two in the fifth and two in the sixth inning.
Lutz and Delgado both had two hits for the Braves, while O'Brien led with four RBI.
Sophomore
Brayden Marks pitched five scoreless innings to start things of for Bradley, striking out five.
