Bradley University welcomes Mallory Mulzer as Assistant Track and Field Coach
Peoria, IL - Bradley University is happy to announce the bringing on of Mallory Mulzer as an Assistant Track and Field Coach reinforcing the commitment to excellence in athletics and in student athlete development. Mulzer brings in experience competing at the highest level as a conference championship-winning Division 1 athlete and as an assistant coach on a staff that led Vanderbilt to their highest finish in the conference in three years.
Mulzer previously was the operations assistant for Florida State in 2022. She helped recruit talented freshmen and transfers, including NCAA All-American Rylee Penn, before becoming an assistant coach at Vanderbilt in 2023. In her lone year at Vanderbilt, she helped guide Julia Rosenburg who qualified for the NCAA East First round in the 1,500 meter and broke Vanderbilt records in the 1,000 and 3,000 meter indoors and 5,000 meter outdoors.
In Cross Country, she helped coach top-ten finishes in six out of seven meets. Under her Jack DesRoches was the top Vanderbilt finisher and top SEC freshman finisher at the Joe Piane Invitational, earning a nod from the SEC and being named the SEC Men's Freshman Runner of the Week.
Mulzer graduated from Indiana in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Public Health and in 2022 with a masters in master's certificate in assistive and rehabilitative technology from Ohio State University in 2022.
