Peoria, Ill- Junior right-handed pitcher Jacob Kisting (Verona, WI) was selected by the Minnesota Twins Tuesday during the third day of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. Kisting was selected in the 14th round by the Twins with the 428th overall selection. 
 
Bradley's star pitcher signed with the Braves as part of the 2021 recruiting class. He started all 29 appearances over the 2022 and 2023 seasons. During his 2023 campaign, he led the team in strikeouts and innings pitched, with 79 strikeouts over 72.2 innings. After suffering an injury prior to the 2024 season, Kisting made his season debut on April 20, 2024, marking his first relief appearance of his Bradley career. He threw one inning and struck out two batters. 
 
For the Braves, Kisting had a career ERA of 5.50, 173 strikeouts, and 171.2 innings pitched in 34 appearances. He was an All-Missouri Valley Conference selection in 2022. Off the field, Kisting was named to the Bradley and MVC Honor Roll.
