Match Outlook
Heading into Sunday's match, Milwaukee will be playing their second of three straight at home to open the season. In the Panthers first game of the year they hosted Lindenwood in a scoreless draw. The Panthers despite not scoring had a similar opening night as Bradley. Milwaukee's offense didn't generate as many opportunities in the first half against Lindenwood but ended the match out shooting the Lions 12-11 due to a much improved second half. The Panthers will be working with three players on yellow cards headed into Sunday with Jack Wagner, Angel Gongora and Sam Torhorst all being booked in game one.
On the Bradley side of things, the Braves were winners in the 2024 season opener after a Kevin Mejias penalty kick. Drew Berry along with the rest of the Bradley defense as was able to see out the whole 90 minutes with no goals against for the clean sheet and victory. BU saw a number of newcomers make their first appearances of the season with Dom Woolley, Amari Fowlkes, Jamie Ponce, and Ardit Abdullai all garnering playing time. Bradley's balanced attack was a large reason of the Braves opening night success with a total of 20 seeing the field and only two going the full 90 minutes.
