PEORIA Ill. - The Bradley Braves took two of three in their second homestand of the season.
Match One
The Braves defeated Eastern Illinois in five sets on Friday. Senior Silan Demirkol led the team in kills with 14 and had the second-most digs with 12. Junior Irene Mostardini led the team in digs with 20 and tied for the most service aces with two alongside fellow teammate, freshman Maria Drapp, who also led the team in assists with 31.
Match Two
Bradley fell to the South Dakota State Jackrabbits in four sets Saturday afternoon. Demirkol led the team in kills again with 15 while finishing with three blocks and 11 digs. Drapp led the team in service aces with two, assists with 18, and digs with 15. Senior Beste Ayhan led the Braves with six blocks while recording a service ace.
Match Three
The Braves beat the Panthers in five sets again Saturday night. Bradley traded sets with Eastern Illinois, taking the first set 25-17, the third set 25-18, and the fifth set 15-12. Junior Iva Popovic recorded the second-most kills with 16 and digs with 18 while leading the team with three service aces. Junior Anna Kiss led the team in kills with 19.

The Bradley Braves will travel to Kansas City, MO to compete in the Kangaroo Klassic with a doubleheader on Friday at 10:00 AM against Montana University and 4:30 PM against Lindenwood University. They will face the University of Missouri-Kansas City on Saturday at 2:00 PM.
