Bradley in the 2024 "ESPN Events" Myrtle Beach Invitational
The Braves have been invited to the 2024 Myrtle Beach Invitational as part of ESPN's "Feast Week." The tournament will take place in Conway, SC, on the campus of Coastal Carolina University at the HTC Center, running from November 21st to 24th. The field consists of eight teams, including Bradley, Middle Tennessee, Ohio, Portland, Princeton, South Florida, Texas State, and Wright State. The Braves are paired with Texas State in round one and will face the winner or loser of the matchup between Princeton and Wright State in round two. Princeton and South Florida also rank in the top 80 of the NET, representing two additional quality opponents should the Braves meet them.
Missouri Valley Conference Slate
For the third consecutive year, Missouri Valley Conference teams will play a 20-game schedule, facing nine other conference opponents both at home and away, with two members being either home or away. The MVC will once again utilize two games in December, with the Braves traveling south to Carbondale, IL, on December 3rd to meet in-state foe Southern Illinois, before returning home roughly three weeks later to face Valparaiso in the Braves' MVC home opener on December 29th.
The two MVC members that the Braves will play only once during the regular season are Missouri State and Evansville. The Braves will host Missouri State on January 4th and will travel to Evansville on February 8th. Other notable dates for Bradley supporters include a matchup against I-74 rival Illinois State in Peoria on Saturday, January 25th, and in Normal on Wednesday, February 19th. Additionally, Bradley will face their longest-running rival, Drake, twice this season: they will host Drake on Wednesday, January 8th, in Peoria, and will visit them in Des Moines on Wednesday, February 16th.
