Women's Golf concludes shortened Johnie Imes Invitational

COLUMBIA, Mo. -- The Braves completed the Johnie Imes Invitational, hosted by Mizzou, finishing tied for third in a competitive 13 team field.

Due to inclement weather, the tournament was shortened to 36 holes, with one round being played on Monday and a second round being played Tuesday.

Caroline McConnell continued her strong start to the season, notching her third top 20 finish in three meets. McConnell set a new career-best 18-hole score with a 69 in the first round and finished the two rounds with a total of 148.
 


On the team front, the Braves finished tied for third place with MVC rival Illinois State. Peyton Coburn and Allison Pacocha each finished in 18th, with Coburn recording her first collegiate top 20 finish.
