The second time around
Bradley and Indiana State will meet for the second time this season when Indiana State travels to Peoria to conclude the 2024-25 regular season series between the two programs. The first meeting lived up to the hype, as both teams were near the top of the MVC standings. The game in Terre Haute ended in a 90-89 overtime win for the Braves, who overcame a seven-point deficit in overtime with roughly two minutes remaining. Bradley could achieve another milestone win Wednesday night, as the Braves haven't swept the two regular season meetings against the Sycamores since the 2008-09 season.

About the Braves
Bradley currently sits in first place in the Missouri Valley Conference standings, with a one-game lead over a group of four teams tied for second (UNI, Drake, Murray State, Belmont). Last time out, the Braves won a tight game against UIC, 61-60, with Duke Deen sinking a game-winning three-pointer with 2.4 seconds left. The Braves have become adept at winning close games, as they are 5-0 in contests decided by six points or fewer or that went to overtime. In the last four games, Zek Montgomery has had some standout performances, scoring 15 or more points in three of those games, including a 24-point game against Indiana State.

About the Sycamores
Indiana State is 9-8 on the season and 3-3 in MVC play. Since their last meeting with the Braves, the Sycamores are 1-2 and have dropped two straight games in conference play to Valparaiso and Belmont. Indiana State currently boasts the best scoring offense in the MVC, averaging 83 points per game, and will face the third-best scoring defense in Bradley, which is allowing 67 points per game. Bradley also ranks third in scoring offense at 79 points per game. On the floor, Indiana State continues to rely on Samage Teel, who leads the MVC in scoring with 17.6 points per game, along with nearly five assists and five rebounds per game.

The game will be available for streaming on ESPN+ with tip-off at 7:00 PM CST. For those who prefer the radio broadcast, the game can be heard on 1470 WMBD with Dave Snell and Chad Kleine on the call.
