Carolina Martinez broke longstanding program records at Iowa's Jimmy Grant Invitational on Dec. 14, 2024. Kingsmith broke the men's 1000m record with a time of 2:25.88, surpassing John McConnell's 1989 record by four seconds. Martinez broke a 41-year-old program record in the women's 300m event, completing the race in 40.18 seconds. This edged out Estmi Codrington's previous record of 40.9 seconds. Six other top ten times were set by Bradley athletes amongst all events. Elsewhere,
Anna Perry won the women's 3000m race, while
Jaxson Copelin took first in the men's mile.
