PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley University men's basketball athlete
Connor Dillon has been named this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week, announced Tuesday. Dillon was honored after scoring a season-high 20 points on 75 percent shooting, including 71.4 percent from three-point range, in Bradley's record-setting victory against Indiana State.
The graduate senior from Peoria scored 20 points, grabbed five rebounds and tallied five steals in just 20 minutes in Bradley's 53-point victory over Indiana State on Jan. 15. Dillon made six of his eight field goal attempts, including going five for seven from three-point range. Dillon also tallied a career-high five steals against the Sycamores. Against Murray State on Jan. 18, Dillon made his only field goal attempt and all four free throw attempts while notching two more steals.
Dillon's strong performance and academic success have earned him this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete honor.
