PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Cross Country will compete at the Joe Piane Invitational at Notre Dame, beginning a two-meet stretch where the team will race against some of the best runners in the nation.

The 2024 Joe Piane Invitational saw
JD Rosslee set a then-new program record in the Men's 8K Blue Race, as the South African completed the race in 23:30.2. The time surpassed Alec Danner's 2022 record by nearly 16 seconds.
Nadia Potgieter completed the Women's 5K Blue Race in 16:56.2, which ranked as the fourth-fastest time in program history. As a team the men placed 16th and the women placed 13th.

Bradley is coming off two title-winning performances at the Bradley Intercollegiate.
Caleb Lind (24:06.3) and
Kaitlyn Sheppard (16:11.9) won the men's 8K and women's three-mile races, respectively, while both teams won their respective team titles against a litany of area programs. Lind's performance earned him his first Missouri Valley Conference Runner of the Week award of his career, while Sheppard earned her second award of the season.
NATIONAL REPRESENTATION
Junior
JD Rosslee will compete in Pretoria, South Africa, this Friday morning as he attempts to qualify against South Africa's top runners for a spot on the South African national team at the 2026 World Cross Country Championships. The race begins at 11:50 a.m. local time (4:50 a.m. CDT) at Tswane University of Technology. Rosslee will return to Bradley in time for the Bradley Pink Classic in two weeks.
