The Braves will kick off their 2025–26 season with a quick trip to Green Bay, Wisconsin, to face the Green Bay Phoenix in their first exhibition game of the season. Bradley welcomed nine newcomers to the roster and assembled an almost entirely new coaching staff during the offseason, welcoming five new coaches to the program. Last season, the Braves finished 28–9 and earned a berth in the 2025 NIT, where they advanced to the third round. They will look to build on that success as they head into the new season.

Green Bay enters the second year of the Doug Gottlieb era and brings a young team into this season, with nine players listed as underclassmen (freshmen and sophomores). Last season was a learning experience for the Phoenix, who finished 4–28 overall. However, they found some rhythm late in the season, winning two of their final five regular-season games.

Saturday's game at the Kress Center will feature the return of some familiar faces. Bradley head coach Brian Wardle returns to Green Bay, where he previously led the Phoenix from 2010 to 2015. Also returning is former Green Bay point guard Keifer Sykes, whose jersey will be retired. Sykes starred from 2011 to 2014, earning Horizon League Player of the Year honors and being named an Associated Press Honorable Mention All-American in 2014.

The exhibition will be available for streaming on ESPN+, with tipoff scheduled for 6:00 p.m. There will be no Bradley Radio Broadcast.
