Peoria, Ill. – The Bradley Braves traveled to Iowa for a two-match road trip against the Drake Bulldogs and UNI Panthers. The Braves dropped both matches, falling to Drake in four sets and UNI in three.

Match One – Drake

The Braves rallied late in the first set, taking the last four points to take it 26-24, but dropped the next three to the Bulldogs (26-24, 22-25, 15-25, 22-25). Tendai Titley had another great game, posting a double-double with 11 kills and 13 digs while recording a block. Freshman Chloe Parker stepped up in a big way, tying for the team lead and posting a new collegiate high of 11 kills while holding a .409 hitting percentage and recording a team-leading three blocks. Maria Drapp also had a double-double with 42 assists and 11 digs while notching a service ace. Irene Mostardini led the team in digs with 19.

Match Two – UNI

Bradley's struggles continued against UNI on Saturday when the Panthers took all three sets against the Braves (18-25, 15-25, 12-25). Titley had another solid game, totaling nine kills, 10 digs, two blocks, and a service ace. Mostardini also had a service ace while leading the team in digs for the second time this weekend, with 15. Parker and Drapp both recorded three blocks, while Drapp added 23 assists to her impressive weekend.

The Braves will look to turn things around as they head home to host Southern Illinois and Drake as part of Bradley's homecoming weekend.
