PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley University soccer athlete Connor Chester has been named this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week, announced Tuesday. Chester was honored after scoring two goals off the bench in Bradley's 2-2 draw against DePaul on Oct. 7 at Shea Stadium.

The freshman from Chesterfield, Mo., notched a brace in 68 minutes against the Blue Demons, helping the Braves rally from a 2-0 deficit. The multi-goal effort was the first of Chester's career and the second by a Brave this season. Chester now is tied for second on the team in goals with three.

Chester's strong performance and academic success have earned him this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete honor.
