Bradley Volleyball Begins Road Trip at Murray State and Belmont

Peoria, Ill. – Bradley Volleyball hits the road for the penultimate time in 2025, beginning a three-game road trip at Murray State on Friday at 6 p.m. before heading to Belmont on Saturday at 5 p.m.

Matchup History

Murray State: The Racers have struggled in their 2025 campaign, posting a 3-14 record (1-7 MVC) and currently sit in last place in the Valley. Their sole conference win came on October 11, when they defeated Illinois State in five sets. Ella Vogel has been solid on both sides of the ball this season. She leads her team with 226 kills, which ranks 10th in the MVC, while totaling 30 blocks, the second most on her team. The Braves and Racers have faced each other eight times, with Murray State holding a slight advantage, winning five of the eight matches.

Belmont: The Bruins have bounced back from their 2024 season under new head coach Fritz Rosenberg, holding a 13-6 record (4-4 MVC). Belmont has slowed down after a 9-2 non-conference start, and they have lost their last two matches heading into their weekend series. Brooke Gilleland has been outstanding for the Bruins so far this season. She leads the team in kills with 242, ranking sixth in the conference while totaling 38 service aces, which leads the MVC and ties her for 11th nationally. Bradley and Belmont have played each other seven times, and the Braves hold a 5-2 advantage over the Bruins.

Bradley Notes

The Braves enter the weekend with a 2-6 conference record and are coming off two five-set losses to Southern Illinois and Drake. During the weekend, four Bradley athletes combined for seven double-doubles across the two matches. Irene Mostardini recorded her first double-double as a Brave, posting 26 digs and 10 assists while adding two service aces against Drake. Tendai Titley, Gracie Furlong, and Maria Drapp each had double-doubles in both matches. Titley combined for 25 kills, 36 digs, and four blocks. Furlong led the Braves in kills in both matches and totaled 31 kills and 29 digs across the weekend. Drapp recorded a new collegiate high with 53 assists in Saturday's game against Drake and finished the weekend with 100 assists, 27 digs, five blocks, and three service aces.

This road trip is the Braves' second-to-last of the season and will conclude on Tuesday when they take on Illinois State at 6 p.m.
