ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Carter Stevenson has been named Missouri Valley Conference Men's Golfer of the Week after placing third at the Missouri State Intercollegiate over Oct. 27-28, per a release by the Valley on Thursday. 

Stevenson paced the Braves for the fourth time this season, finishing third with a five-under-par 208 (69-69-70) at Millwood Golf & Racquet Club. The finish is his second this season of fifth or better. The Braves finished second as a team with a score of 858 (291-276-291), tying the third-lowest score in program history, while their second-round 276 ties the program record for lowest round score, set at the Dolenc Invitational earlier this year.

This is Stevenson's second MVC Men's Golfer of the Week award of the season, with the first coming on Oct. 2.
