PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley University men's cross country athlete Caleb Lind has been named this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week, announced Tuesday. Lind was honored after finishing 24th out of 150 runners at the Joe Piane Invitational.

The senior from Lake St. Louis, Mo., completed the Men's 8K Blue Race at the Piane Invite at Notre Dame in 23:34.5, setting a new career best and running the third fastest 8K time in program history. Lind was the highest-finishing Brave for the second consecutive meet, and he was named MVC Runner of the Week on Oct. 6 after his performance.

Lind's strong performance and academic success have earned him this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete honor.
