About the Braves
Bradley is coming off a dominant 85–54 win over Central Michigan in its last outing. The 31-point margin of victory was the Braves' largest in a home opener since the 2022–23 season, when they defeated Wisconsin–Parkside 93–59. Jaquan Johnson led the way for Bradley, recording career highs in points (33), field goals made (11), and three-pointers made (3) on his way to being named Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week. The Braves also received double-digit scoring contributions from AJ Smith, who scored 18 points, and Alex Huibregtse, who added 11. The win improved BU's record to 79–18 inside Carver Arena since the 2019–20 season.

About the Skyhawks
Last season, UT Martin went 14–19 overall and 9–11 in conference play. This season, the Skyhawks are off to a 2–0 start after defeating UNLV on the road in their season opener and Kentucky Christian in their most recent game. UT Martin is coached by Jeremy Shulman, who is in his second season leading the program. He has accumulated 360 career victories across multiple levels of college basketball. On the court, the Skyhawks are led by their two 20-point-per-game scorers, Andrija Bukumirovic and Dragos Lungu, who are both averaging exactly 20.0 points per game.

History Says
Bradley leads the all-time series 4–0, with BU winning the most recent meeting 81–75 in 2011. As a program, Bradley holds a 32–14 record against Ohio Valley Conference opponents. The Braves' last matchup with an OVC team came just last season, when they defeated SEMO 88–60 in their home opener.
