Peoria, IL – The Bradley Braves soccer team lost 2-4 to Drake in the final regular-season game of 2025.
In the 8th minute of the game, junior
DJ Koulai scored his third goal of the season. Koulai scored in the top left of the net off assists from fellow junior
Mitch Coughlon and freshman
Luke Knotts. This was the second assist on the year for Coughlon, the first colligate point for Knotts. Coughlon's 16th point moves him up to fourth in total points among the Missouri Valley Conference.
Koulai would continue to help the Braves' offense, as his assist led to the first goal of the season for junior
Stephen Saladin. Saladin's goal came in the 38th minute of the contest, giving the Braves a 2-0 lead. Koulai's fifth assist puts him tied for second place across the Valley. The Braves entered halftime with a 2-1 lead.
Senior
Drew Berry recorded three saves in the contest, which ties Mike Haynes for the 8th most in Bradley soccer program history. Berry's 84 saves are the second most in the nation, and his 4.94 saves per game are the second most amongst the Valley's keepers.
Along with Koulai, freshman
Nokkvi Hjorvarsson also had a pair of shots. As a team, Bradley had more corner kicks and more saves. All saves by both keepers were made in the second half of the game.
