The Bradley Braves have won three of their last four games heading into tomorrow night's matchup with Washington State. Bradley earned wins over Princeton and Liberty in the ESPN Events Invitational, bringing their overall record to 4–4. Bradley's schedule has been one of the more challenging slates in the MVC, as they are one of only two teams in the conference, along with Murray State to play more than two games above the Quad 3 level.

Jaquan Johnson is having an outstanding sophomore season. He ranks first in the MVC in both scoring and steals, and he is also top eight in assists. Johnson's 26 total steals rank fourth nationally, and he is the only underclassman in the top ten. The Braves' trip to Florida was also productive for Alex Huibregtse, who caught fire and shot an impressive 59 percent (13-for-22) from three-point range during the three-day event. Montana Wheeler and Timoty van der Knaap both recorded career highs in scoring over the course of the tournament.

Washington State is 3–5 on the season and is coming off a 1–2 showing in the Maui Invitational, earning a win over Chaminade and taking losses to Arizona State and Seton Hall. The Cougars are led by Ace Glass, who is averaging 17.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. Washington State also features five other players averaging between nine and ten points per game. Head coach David Riley is in his second season with the Cougars and holds an overall record of 84–58 after previously spending three seasons at Eastern Washington.

History Says!
Washington State leads the brief all-time series 3–0 against Bradley. This will be only the fifth time the Braves have faced a West Coast Conference opponent, with all matchups occurring in the past two seasons (Santa Clara, San Francisco twice, and Washington State).
