What to Watch

The Braves look to turn this road trip around after losing their matchups against Drake and Northern Iowa.  Bradley will look to keep Evansville from scoring in the paint as Drake and UNI scored a combined 70 points in the paint against the Braves in last weekends games.  The Braves will also look to come out swinging as the last time these two teams faced off, Bradley had to fight from behind after only scoring five points in the first quarter.

Key Players to Watch

• Ellie McDermid (Bradley): McDermid has had a solid season up to this point and she is going to need to make her presence felt in the paint on Thursday to keep this game out of reach of the Purple Aces.

• Claire McDougall (Bradley): McDougall scored 11 points in the Braves' loss to the Bulldogs and has averaged 10 points per game on this road trip. She will need to have another good game on Thursday to help put the Braves over the Purple Aces.

About the Braves

The Braves (9-14, 3-9 MVC) are looking to split the road trip by winning their next two games, a feat they accomplished earlier this season. The last time Bradley faced Evansville was on Jan. 2, when the Braves beat the Purple Aces 45-42. Soleil Barnes led the team with 15 points while totaling seven rebounds, four steals, and two assists.

About the Purple Aces

The Purple Aces (5-18, 1-11 MVC) have lost their last six games with their last matchup being against Missouri State in which Evansville gave up 86 points.  While the Purple Aces have struggled this season, they have done well at home as they hold a 5-4 record in their home games compared to their 0-12 record when on the road.
