PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley University men's indoor Track & Field athlete
Jack Crull has been named this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week, announced Tuesday. Crull was honored after running the second sub-four minute mile in Indoor Track & Field program history to set a new school record.
The fifth-year senior from Jefferson City, Missouri, completed the mile in 3:57.20 at the Meyo Invitational at Notre Dame on Feb. 1. Crull's sub-four minute mile was the second of his career and in program history as he broke his own men's mile school record of 3:59.14, set last season. Crull's time is the fastest amongst all Missouri Valley Conference mile runners this season, the eighth-fastest amongst all mile runners in the Midwest Region and 41st-fastest in all of NCAA.
Crull's strong performance and academic success have earned him this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete honor.
