March 19, 2025 | St. Louis, Mo. | Billiken Sports Center
The Bradley Braves traveled to Saint Louis for a midweek non-conference showdown and came away with a hard-fought 9-8 victory, snapping a losing streak with a clutch performance at the plate and a strong bullpen effort down the stretch.

Game: Bradley 9, Saint Louis 8
After trailing 4-0 through four innings, the Braves erupted for six runs in the sixth to flip the momentum. Freshman Jackson Smith led the charge with a 3-for-5 day, driving in three runs—including a key 2-RBI double in the big inning. Cole Smith added two hits, two runs scored, and an RBI to fuel the comeback.

Bradley's bullpen held off multiple Saint Louis rallies. Senior Reece Clapp earned the win with 1.2 scoreless innings of relief, striking out two in the final frame to seal the win.

Top Performer: Jackson Smith (3-for-5, 2B, 3 RBI)
Bradley Offense: 13 hits, 9 runs, 8 walks
Pitching Grit: 8 runs allowed, 5 earned, 8 strikeouts

Looking Ahead
With momentum from the road win, the Braves will look to build on their offensive production as they continue non-conference play. Key contributions from underclassmen like Smith, as well as veteran leadership on the mound, could signal a turning point in Bradley's young season.
