Peoria, IL -- The Bradley Braves earned six all-conference awards from the Missouri Valley Conference's end of season award voting
All-Conference Awards
The Braves racked up six all-conference awards headlined by three members of the 2024-25 squad being named to one of the three MVC all-conference teams.
Duke Deen has been named to the MVC's First team for the second consecutive season. This is the first time Bradley has had someone named to the first team in back-to-back season since 2003-04 & 2004-05 when Marcellus Sommervile accomplished that feat, Sommerville is also being conducted into the MVC's Athletics Hall of Fame during Arch Madness this year.
Darius Hannah was named to the MVC Second Team, with
Zek Montgomery being named to the MVC Third Team in his return season to the Braves. This marks the first All-league selection to any of the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd teams for
Darius Hannah and
Zek Montgomery. Montgomery had previously been named to the MVC's most improved team in 2022. The awards don't end there for
Darius Hannah as he was also named to the Missouri Valley Conference's All-Defensive Team, Hannah earns the Braves their third straight year of having a player named to the Defensive team.
Jaquan Johnson also had his named called twice in the MVC's award process earning nods to the MVC's All-Bench Team and the MVC's All-Freshman Team. Johnson's selection the the All-Freshman team makes three of the last four years that the Braves have earned a selection in that catagoery with
Almar Atlason being selected last year and
Connor Hickman named in 2021-22.
Connor Dillon rounds out the MVC awards for the Braves by being named to the MVC's Scholar Athlete Third Team.
