Longtime Rivals Meet Again
The stage has been set as longtime rivals will collide again, as Bradley and Drake will once again meet on the postseason stage. This will be the third meeting of the season between Drake and Bradley, with the road team winning each of the regular season meetings. This marks the 10th time in the last 15 seasons that Drake and Bradley will have met in the postseason, including each of the last three seasons. Drake advanced to Championship Sunday by defeating #8 Southern Illinois in the quarterfinals and #4 Belmont in the semifinals. Bradley advanced past #7 Murray State in the quarterfinals (70-62) and #11 Valparaiso in the semifinals. This is the 20th time that both the #1 and #2 seeds will play in the championship game.

The all-time series is led by Bradley 94-74, with the Braves holding a 9-6 record against the Bulldogs in the MVC Tournament, including a 4-5 record all-time in the championship game. The Braves are led by a trio of double-digit scorers in Duke Deen, Zek Montgomery, and Darius Hannah, who all average over 12 points per game this season. Duke Deen continues to climb the MVC career made three-point record list with 260 career made threes, trailing only Jeremy Crouch's 262 for most all-time. Off the bench, Jaquan Johnson continues to make an impact, recording his 50th steal of the season, moving just four steals behind Billy Wright's freshman record of 54.
