ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Anna Belogliadova has been selected to the All-Conference Scholar-Athlete First Team by the Missouri Valley Conference for the 2024-25 season, per the All-Conference Scholar-Athlete team release from The Valley on Thursday.
Belogliadova, a Management Information Systems / Business Analytics major with a 4.00 cumulative grade point average, went 9-12 in doubles play during the season. She most frequently partnered with
Madi Rogers, and the pair went 6-7 on the season, primarily on court one. Belogliadova and Rogers went 4-4 in conference action, including going 3-0 in their final three matches. The duo won MVC Doubles Players of the Week on April 16 after going 2-0 against UIC and Valparaiso.
Belogliadova earns the first All-MVC Scholar-Athlete First Team honor for a Brave since Madalena Andrade earned the honor in 2022-23. This is Belogliadova's second All-MVC Scholar-Athlete selection, having earned Second Team honors in 2023-24.
The criterion for the Scholar-Athlete team parallels the CSC (College Sports Communicators) standards for Academic All-America voting. Nominees must have participated in at least 75% of the regular-season matches or be projected to play in the MVC Championship, with at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA (on a 4.00 scale). Student-athletes must have reached sophomore status in both athletic and academic standing at their institution.
