Peoria, Ill. – Bradley Softball returns to OSF Healthcare Field this weekend for its final home series of the 2025 season, highlighted by a special Senior Day celebration honoring five standout student-athletes: Addie Welsh, Abbott Badgley, Sydney Kennedy, Bailey Sample, and Allie Paregien. This group has made lasting contributions to the program and will be recognized ahead of Sunday's series finale.

Each senior has left their mark on the field and within the program's culture:

• Addie Welsh has been a four-year starter at shortstop and one of the most consistent defensive leaders on the roster. As a freshman in 2022, she earned co-Defensive MVP honors after leading the team in assists and delivered multiple clutch hits throughout the season. She has been a mainstay in the lineup ever since.

• Abbott Badgley has contributed both at the plate and in the circle during her Bradley career. She's totaled 18 career home runs and over 90 RBIs, while also earning 18 wins in the circle. She earned NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors in 2022 and was an MVC Scholar-Athlete honorable mention in 2023, representing the program with excellence on and off the field.

• Sydney Kennedy made an immediate impact after transferring to Bradley in 2024. She was named the Missouri Valley Conference Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-MVC in her debut season, leading the Braves in wins, ERA, strikeouts, and batting average. Her two-way production placed her among the top players in the league and one of the most versatile athletes in the Valley.

• Bailey Sample has delivered consistent offensive and defensive production throughout her career. In 2024, she earned All-MVC Defensive Team honors at first base and finished among the team leaders in home runs and total bases. Known for her steady presence, clutch moments at the plate, and infectious energy, Sample has been a key part of the infield core.

• Allie Paregien has been a model teammate and leader throughout her time at Bradley. While her playing time has been limited, her impact within the team has been significant—bringing energy, positivity, and commitment that helped define the program's culture. Off the field, Paregien is a model student and represents Bradley Softball as the Braves Council President.

The Braves will face Evansville in a three-game weekend series, with first pitch set for Saturday at noon and Senior Day festivities planned before Sunday's finale. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and help celebrate this special group for their leadership, work ethic, and pride in wearing the Bradley uniform.
