PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley University baseball athlete Mason Breidenbach has been named this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week, announced Tuesday. Breidenbach was honored after tallying five hits in 11 at-bats with two extra-base hits in a three-game series against Murray State.

The junior from Chesterfield, Missouri, notched hits in each game of the three-game series against Murray State. Breidenbach tallied two hits in game one on April 6 and in game three on April 7 for his 11th and 12th multi-hit games out of 25 appearances in the 2025 season. Breidenbach now leads the team in batting average (.351) and all qualified hitters in on base-plus-slugging percentage (.892).

Breidenbach's strong performance and academic success have earned him this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete honor.
