PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Athletics Celebrates adding yet abnout group of Strength and Conditioning All-Americans
Bradley University Sports Performance Director Eddie Papis has announced Cody ' Duke" Deen (Men's Basketball), Timmy O'Brien (Baseball), Jack Crull (XC/Track), and Anna Belogliadova (Tennis) have been recognized as 2024-25 All-American Strength and Conditioning Athletes of the Year by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
The NSCA All-American Strength and Conditioning Athletes of the Year program recognizes collegiate and high school athletes whose athletic accomplishments, in the opinion of their strength coach, reflect their dedication to strength training and conditioning. The NSCA All-Americans are also recognized for their academic and personal accomplishments and integrity as student-athletes. Papis remarked about this year's group
"The group for 2024-25 displays so many tough old school traits, it isn't a shock they have had such success. Having this many three year plus Bradley students demonstrates a commitment not seen as much in this portal era. Not to mention their resiliency to overcome numerous hardships and adversity in their careers and yet come out on other side shining due to a head down, hard work and coachability unlike the normal student athlete. They are a model for the future Bradley Student athletes to emulate if they want to reach or exceed their potential. I'm again proud of my staff (Angela Galgano and
Wayne Noel) and our athletes for their buy in to what we continue to build here at Bradley"
Duke Deen will graduate Bradley as the all-time leader in made 3-point field goals as well as winning All-Newcomer and two First Team All MVC selections in his three years at Bradley. Duke started and played in all but two games in those three-years leading Bradley to three straight postseason appearances and one league title.
