Cosler Set to Compete in NCAA Regional in Columbus

PEORIA, Ill. – Jillian Cosler travels to the NCAA Women's Golf Columbus Regional in Columbus, Ohio, on May 5-7.

Jillian tees off from hole 10 the par-72 OSU Scarlet Course at 9:50 a.m. EDT on Monday, May 5. Cosler tees off for rounds two and three at 9:50 a.m. EDT on Tuesday, May 6, and Wednesday, May 7, respectively.

THE JOURNEY TO THE REGIONAL
Jillian Cosler qualified for the NCAA Regional after winning the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golf Championship at Annbriar Golf Course in Waterloo, Ill., on April 13-15. Cosler's consistent golf allowed her to finish one under par at 215 over 54 holes, two strokes ahead of second place. 

Cosler was named to the 2024-25 Women's Golf All-Conference team for her performance. She was also the conference's Elite 18 as the golfer who finished in the top 18 with the highest cumulative grade point average. 

THE PATH TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP
The top five teams plus the top individual not on one of the top five teams from each of the six NCAA Regional sites advance to the NCAA Women's Golf Championship at Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, Calif., on May 16-21.

TRENDS & NOTES
  • Cosler leads the team in stroke average at 75.59 over 29 rounds played
  • Cosler has golfed six consecutive rounds and 10 of her last 11 under 80
  • Cosler also finished within the top 20 two additional times, with one of those being in the top 10
  • Won two tournaments during the 2024-25 season, the first Brave to do so since Taylor Ledwein in 2020-21
  • Won the seventh MVC Championship medal for a Brave and the first since 2014, when Danielle Lemek won
