MADISON, Wis. – Bradley Women's Golf placed fourth against some of the nation's top programs at the Badger Invitational in Madison, Wis.
The Braves finished 11 strokes over par at 875 (289-289-297) as a team, which ranks as the second-lowest tournament score in program history. The round one and two scores of 289 mark the seventh and eighth times the team has fired under 290 in a single round ever. Bradley placed ahead of Big 10 programs Iowa and Wisconsin on the team leaderboard.
Senior
Caroline McConnell recorded her second consecutive third-place finish and set two career lows during the tournament. McConnell began the tournament by shooting 68 in the first round, the best single-round score of her career. A second-round 69 and a final-round 72 secured a career-low score of 209 for the tournament and another third-place finish. The tournament score is also the second-lowest by an individual in program history.
Elsewhere,
Jillian Cosler finished tied for 24th with a six-over-par 222, and
Alyssa Mixon placed tied for 35th with an eight-over-par 224.
Allison Pacocha finished tied for 42nd with a 10-over-par 226.
